The WET Carbon Filter FC155141 Cartridge is designed to remove chlorine and reduce chloramines, unpleasant taste, odors, and organic chemicals that may be present in the water supply. All of these filters contain activated carbon which is a natural material that has millions of microspopic holes which will attract, capture and/or breakdown compounds such as pesticides, and dissolved organic materials found in water.
