(MCI). Motor Controls Inc., a world leader in the design, development, and manufacture of industrial control solutions, municipal pump stations, and other industrial products. MCI announced in Dallas on November, 1, 2017 that the company has acquired the Water Equipment Technologies (WET) brand from Xylem. The WET brand is a global leader in commercial, industrial, residential, municipal, and agricultural water filtration products for more than 40 years.
The MCI team is world class and will continue to improve, incorporate new technologies, and meet or exceed the high standards set by the WET brand. As MCI acquires WET, both companies will benefit from the acquisistion, increasing the capability to provide superior products to satisfy the global demand for high quality pure water filtration systems and products.
The Water Equipment Technologies (WET) Brand of Xylem Inc. acquired by MCI comprises a business unit which manufactures packaged irrigation, boost, lift systems, and controls for golf, landscape, agriculture, and water treatment packages. Motor Controls Inc. MCI advanced manufacturing capabilities will allow the WET brand to expand by offering production of complete customized water filtration systems.
The acquisation allows MCI to expand in the global market to offer it’s clients complete water filtration solutions for markets like the agricultural industry (farming and irrigation), municipalities(drinking water & waste water filtration), industrial production (pharmaceutical & electronics manufacturing), commercial applications (resorts & golf courses), and even residential (drinking water) systems where water filtration is required.
Water Equipment Technologies (WET) will continue to be a global leader in the manufacture of water technology and products that meet the world’s water filtration and treatment needs.
